Hugh Knox

Hugh Knox, Jr. entered into eternal rest on at his residence on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the age of 74.

He was a native of Sunflower, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Hugh was a retired Tire Service Repairman.

Husband of the late Valla T. Knox. Devoted father of Ardelia Speed Johnson, Felicia Kirby, Carey Thompson, Michael Thompson, Daryl Thompson, Jennifer Knox, Ariel Knox Faggett, and Tracey Knox. Son of Hugh Knox, Sr. and the late Magnolia Jackson. Grandson of the late Willie B. Logan and Jessie Logan. Brother of Andrew Jackson, Jr., James Smith, Rickey Jackson, Philip Jackson, Lionel Monroe, Dorothy Walters, Cynthia Hammond, Debra Lewis, and Roberta Jackson Harris, also survived by 16 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friend of the family are invited of attend the memorial service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00a.m.
