Rosalie Boudoin Johnson

Rosalie “Motherdear” Boudoin Johnson, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Tulane Medical Center. She was a native of Edgard, LA   and a resident of Marrero, LA. Wife of the late Lloyd N. Johnson, Sr. Devoted mother of Amanda J. Ferrand, Deborah J. Jones, Lloyd N. Johnson, Jr, Zarak K. Johnson, and Dwayne C. Johnson. Daughter of the late Chester Boudoin and Mathilda Edwards. Sister of Julius (Eunice), Chester (Rosetta) Boudoin Jr., Sylvia B. Hurst, and the late Leo Boudoin Sr., and Patricia B. Wilson. Sister in law of Yvonne Osborne; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, and pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Tulane School of Medicine, Department of Children and Family Services, US Foods, M.T.I. Global, and USDA, are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 10:00a.m. Father Eugene Jacques,SSE, Celebrant  Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m.; Recitation of Rosary 8:30a.m.; Celebration of Life 9:15a.m.  Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
