Jahiem Kendall Collins

Jahiem Kendall Collins passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the age of 10.  He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.  Jahiem was a 5th grade student at Vic A Pitre Elementary School.  Loving son of Rickie Brown, Jr., Shekitra Collin Adams and Corey Adams.  Brother of Merice Collins, Corey Adams, Jr., Caden Adams, Caron Adams, Emony Collins, Cherise Adams, and the late Lum Collins.  Grandson of Milan Collins, Darryl Littleton, Marilyn Brown, Genine A. Steib, and the late Rickie Brown, Sr.  Great grandson of the late Bessie Collins.  Nephew of Marie (John) Cummings, Darrlynn Randolph, Jamira Johnson, Darrly Johnson, Gabrielle Murray, Gina Henry, and the late Dwayne Collins .  Great nephew of the late Johnny Walter Collin, Jr.   Cousin of the late Kendall and Raymond Collins.  Godson of Barbara “Aunt Boo” Arties, and Brea “My Brea” Arties Dolton; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of River of Life Church and all neighboring churches; faculty, staff and students of Vic A Pitre, Johnson Gretna Park, Lincoln School of the Arts, and Woodland Elementary Schools are invited to attend the Funeral Service at River of Life Church, 2140 Woodmere Blvd. Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor James Nelson Brown, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the church.
