Mary T. Johnson

Mary T. Johnson departed this life on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Brookside Senior Living in Stone Mountain, GA at the age of 82.  She was a native of Woodville, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA.  Mary was employed in banking with First N.B.C. and as a beautician for many years.  Devoted wife of the late Freddie J. Johnson, Sr.  Loving mother of Alvin (Elizabeth) Johnson, Sr. of Marrero, LA, Joyce Johnson and Freddie Johnson, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA.  Grandmother of Alvin (WyShawn) Johnson, Jr., April (Marlon) Defillo, Sparkle Riley Yancy of Valdosta , GA and Chantae Spann of Orlando, FL.  Great grandmother of Ashton Avery Johnson; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Life Center Cathedral Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 6223 6th Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Edward Joseph, III, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
