Charleen Carter Ray

Charleen M. Ray entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the age of 64.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.  She was a former Bus Attendant for the Jefferson Parish Public School System.  Beloved wife of Willie Lee Ray.  Daughter of the late Joseph Carter and Elizabeth Pettis Carter.  Sister of Karl Carter, Sr., Darleen Carter, her twin, and the late JoAnn Carter; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second St. John Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second St. John Baptist Church, 242 Avondale Garden Rd. Avondale, LA on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Charlie Davis, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
