Michael John Kellup

June 4, 1949 — September 4, 2018

Michael John Kellup departed this life on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at West Jefferson medical Center at the age of 69.  He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA .  Michael served his country as a member of the United States Army.  He was employed as a cook.  Loving father of Kentrell Kellup (Carl) Hills, Shaketha Kellup, and Michael Smith.  Son of the late Isiah Kellup and Sarah H. Kellup. Grandson of the late Sarah Jackson and Charles Henderson.  Brother of David Kellup, Ronald Kellup, Douglas Kellup, and the late Isiah and Kevin Kellup.  Michael is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Lionel Hester, of Morning Glory Fellowship Church, officiating  Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
