Norman Phillip Cola, Sr.

December 30, 1949 — September 14, 2018

Norman Phillip Cola, Sr. departed this life on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the age of 68.  He was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA.  He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and a retired pipefitter of Belle Chasse Naval Base.  He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.  Loving father of Norman Cola, Jr. and Nyja Roby.  Son of the late Roland Cola, Sr. and Catherine Jacobs Cola.  Grandson of the late Thomas Cola, Sr. and Aurelia Sims Cola.  Brother of Roland (Lovonia) Cola, Jr., Michael Cola, Anthony (Irma) Cola, Ronald Cola, and the late Donald Cola; also survived by 2 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at the above named parlor.
