Louise W. Conner

Louise Williams Conner departed this life peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at University Medical Center at the age of 83.  She was a native of Brusly, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA.  Louise was a faithful member of the Deaconess Board at True Vine Baptist Church. Beloved wife of the late Willie Conner, Sr.   Loving mother of Betty Jean, Carol and Gary Conner, Fred (Lenetta) Williams , Collette (Terry) Thomas, Mary Lynn (Nolan) Ashford, Roy Chartian, Michael (Felicia) Chartian, and the late Willie Conner, Jr. Grandmother of the late Derrell Conner.  Daughter of the late Willie and Sarah West Williams.  Sister of the late Shirley, Edna, Willie “Bill”, Sidney, and Louis Williams, Curtis West, Mary Watson, and Ceola Alexander.  Louise is also survived by 17, grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of True Vine Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at True Vine Baptist Church, 2008 Marigny St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Donald Jeanjacques, Sr., officiating  Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.  Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA  Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA  To view and sign the guestbook, please go to www.davismortuaryservice.com.
