Murphy Stipes, Jr.

Murphy Stipes, Jr entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital at the age of 63. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. He was a former of employee Louisiana Nut and Bolt.

Beloved husband of the late Wanda Jean Williams Stipes. Devoted father of Shwanda Stipe, Kelly Stipe, and the late Murphy Roland Stipe, III. Grandfather o fo Kelly Stipe, Jr. Son of the late Murphy Stipe, Sr. and Mary Ellzey Stipe. Brother of Willie Stipe and Debbie Williams. Son in law of the late Harry Williams, Sr. and Loretta Thomas Williams, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin 8:30a.m. at the above named parlor.           

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
