Edward LaBeauve

Edward LaBeauve, age 91, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, October 20, 2018.  He was a native of Maurice, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA.  Edward retired after 22 years of service as a member of the United States Navy.  He received many commendations for his military service, which include the World War II Medal, National Defense Service Medal and 5 Good Conduct Medals.  Edward was also employed with Metropolitan Development Center (formerly Belle Chasse State School) as a Maintenance Supervisor for 13 years and as a Security Guard for 9 years with the Naval Support Activity Base. Loving husband of Dorethea R. LaBeauve.  Son of the late Ulysse and Estella Thibeaux LaBove.  Brother of Joyce LaBove and the late Beaulah Arceneaux, Clarence, Lawrence, Ulysse, Jr., Joseph, Nathan, and Dorothy LaBove and Grace Thompson.  Son-in-law of the late Wesley Rose, Sr. and Julia Ross Rose.  Brother-in-law of the late Molly LaBove, Doris Alston, Barbara Rose, Wesley Rose, Jr., Thomas Rose, Charles M. Green, Irvin Arceneaux, and Chester Thompson. Edward is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; members of Fleet Reserve Association and Louisiana Sheriffs Honorary Program are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church, 1441 Teche St.,  New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will be held from 8:00a.m.-9:45a.m. at the above named church.
