Josefina Del Carmen Figueroa

Josefina Del Carmen Figueroa, a retired Military Maid, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the age of 86.  She was a native of El Salvador and a resident of Harvey, LA.  Josefina completed Middle School and classes in Biblical Studies. She was a co-founder and a member of Maranata Church in El Salvador for over 38 years.  Josefina was also a member of Guerreros De Cristo for 4 years and was currently a member of Grace Church in Metairie, LA.  Beloved wife of the late Ricardo Figueroa.  Loving mother of Lidia Mercedez Bustos, and the late Ricardo Figueroa and Mauricio Figueroa.  Daughter of the late Maria Paula Figueroa.  Sister of Yolanda Lucidla Melendez, Margarita Amaya, and the late Luis and Tomas Figueroa. Josefina is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 6:00p.m. Visitation will begin at 4:30p.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment will be Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery, 9820 Nine Mile Pt. Rd.
