Jerry Dean Searls

Jerry Dean Searls, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the age of 68.  She was a native of Lake Providence, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.  Beloved wife of Alfred L. Searls, Jr.  Loving mother of the late Thad Jackson, Sr.  Devoted grandmother of Thavondria J. Jackson and Thad Jackson.   Daughter of Lena Mae Stewart and the late Thad Stewart.  Granddaughter of the late, Clabe Taylor and Mary Taylor.  Sister of Robert Long, McArthur Long, Dorothy Webb, and the late Rev. Wilbert Long; also by 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Philadelphia Christian Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Philadelphia Christian Church, 3127 General Meyer Ave., New Orleans, LA on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor James Swatt, host pastor; Rev. Danny Willis, officiating.  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
