Janice Marie Craft

Janice Marie Craft entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the age of 67.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.  Janice attended L. B. Landry High School and was employed as a cook with Universal Catering.  Beloved wife of the late Graves Craft, Jr.  Loving mother of Juan Craft, Jamal Craft, and Avanda Craft.  Daughter of the late Gustave Shorty, Jr. and Melvina Roussell.  Granddaughter of the late Augustine and Sylvester Roussell.  Sister of Gustave Shorty, III, Michael Shorty, Dale Shorty, Roland Shorty, Carol Washington, Irma Shorty, Judy Ann (Pastor Lester, Sr.) Hester, Cynthia Shorty (Leon), Michelle Roussell, and the late Augustine Shorty.  Aunt of the late Joshua Terrell Shorty, Sr. and Keith Roussell; also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
