Sheryl L. Baker

Sheryl Lee Baker entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the age of 63.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.  She was a graduate of Wayne County Community College and was employed as a Customer Service Representative. Sheryl was an Missionary Evangelist in the Church of God in Christ.  Loving mother of Donald Charles Jackson, Jr. and Teta Lishell Jackson. Beloved daughter of Gloria Gray and the late Mary B. Nora Hall.  Sister of Alvin Nora, James Baker, Pamela Baker, Holly Baker, Twana Baker, and the late Patricia Baker. Sheryl is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Marine and Mt. Moriah Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Marine and Mt. Moriah Community Church, 3034 Andover St. Jefferson, LA on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Donald Robinson, host pastor; Rev. Kenneth Nora, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
