Lynette McMillian

Lynette McMillian entered into eternal rest at Louisiana Continuing Care Hospital on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the age of 58. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Lynette graduated from L. W. Higgins High School and continued her studies at SUNO where she was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She was a retired employee of East Jefferson Hospital as a nurse.

Devoted mother of James McMillian. Daughter of the late James and Willie Mae McMillian. Sister of Jerry, Jesse, Charles, and Marion McMillian, and Carrie Skinner, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second St. John Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second St. John Baptist Church 242 Avondale Garden Rd. Avondale, LA on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m.until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Carrollton Cemetery-New Orleans, LA.
