Donald Sims

Donald Sims entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the age of 66. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Donald was a welder at Avondale Shipyard.

Devoted father of Robert “Bush” White. Son of the late Clarence and Thelma Sims Lamb. Brother of Diana (Robert) Phillip and the late James Barry Sims. Uncle of Antoinette Washington, Robin Phillip, and Tony Jackson of CA., also survived by 5 great nieces, 1 great nephew, 8 great great nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 24 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin 8:00a.m. at the above named parlor.

Pastor Richard Williams officiating of New Hope Baptist Church of Hahnville, LA.          

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
