Mintie Louise Samuels

Mintie Keith Samuels departed this life at Bayside Health Care Center on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the age of 65. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Mintie was employed with Belle Chasse Academy as a cook.

Beloved wife of Gilbert Samuels. Devoted mother of Frankie and Kevin Keith. Grandmother of Cameron Finley and Kevianna Keith. Daughter of Elvera H. Davis and the late George Keith, Sr. Stepdaughter of the late Edward Davis, Sr. Grandddaughter of the late Nathaniel and Louise Barnes. Sister of Alfred (Charlotte) Keith, Edward Davis, Connie (Desi) Jackson, Angela (Larry) Ledet, and Kamela (Raymond) Tobias and the late Marvin (Margia) Davis, and George (Cynthia) Keith. Devoted friend of BeBe Griffin, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters in law, brothers in law, other relatives and friends

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Belle Chasse Academy are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St Gretna, LA on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m.until service time at the above named parlor.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
