Edna Butler Love

Edna Mae Love entered into eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the age of 75. She was a native of Plaquemine, LA and resident of New Orleans, LA. Edna was a retired Payroll Administrator with Tulane University.

Beloved wife of Roy Love. Devoted mother of Nyra M. Bottley. Daughter of the late Johnnie Butler, Sr. and Louiser Butler. Granddaughter of the late William Henry Johnson and Beatrice. Sister of Ronald Butler, Sr., Gerald L. Butler, Louella B. Bland, Doris A. Butler, and the late Johnnie “June” Butler, Jr., and Sharon Butler Nettles, also survived by 2 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church # 2 of New Orleans, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church 441 Wilson St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
