Lucy Williams

Lucy M. Williams departed this life at her residence on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a native of Woodville, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Lucy, whom was affectionately called Mama Lucy, was the owner of Let Lucy’s Boy Do It Landscaping Company.

Wife of the late Eddie Williams by second marriage and Willie Parker by first marriage. Devoted mother of Betty L. Parker, Emma Turner, Viola Lee Cox, Carlyn Fleming, and the late Janice Brumfield. Grandmother of Vanessa Hart, Delvin and Irran Wiggins, Lucretia and James Parker, Gregory, Trina, and Rodshunda Turner, Derrick, Emmett III, Effrem, Elliott, and Evan Cox, Otis, III, and Carlos Fleming. Daughter of the late William and Narcissus Martin. Sister of Mary L. Summers and Sarah Miller. Mother-in-law of Dr.Emmett Cox, III, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 323 Canal St. Luling, LA on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

Visitation will begin 10:00a.m. at the above named church.

Interment: Providence Park Cemetery-Metairie, LA.
