Martha Foley Parker

Martha M. Parker, age 88, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 24, 2018.  She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Loving mother of Darrell, Wendell (Dolores), Debarney, Brian and Buffy (Irvin) Parker, and the late Don Parker and Gail Parker Bickman.  Grandmother of Davies McDaniel, Katrina, Barrell, Dionne, Kizzy, Bronchelle, Bracquell, Chablis, Breechelle, Chardoney, Irvin III, Madjah, Ivan, Jahmyri, Tracie, and Stacie Parker, and the late Darrell Parker.  Daughter of the late Louis and Harriet Foley.  Sister of the late Pearl, Louis, Jr., and Author Foley. Godmother of Deidra Stovall; also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Israelite Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Israelite Baptist Church, 2100 Martin Luther King Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Emanuel Smith, host pastor; Rev. Wayman Frost, officiating  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
