Robert Lee Johnson, Jr.

Robert “Rob” Lee Johnson, Jr., entered into eternal rested on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 51. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Rob graduated from Oliver Perry Walker Senior High School in 1984 and attended Delgado Community College.

Devoted father of Latasha M. Johnson and Robert Lee Jackson. Stepfather of Kia Thomas. Grandfather of Xavier Guyton, Hendrix Richard, Ry’jae, Royale and Rage Jackson. Son of Robert (Mary Ellen) Johnson, Sr. and the late Lottie Patricia Wesley. Grandson of the late Jessie and Dorothy Johnson, Sr., Amelia Gary, and John Riley. Brother of Erica Patrice Thibodeaux, Yon James, Paula Leshay (Maurice) Hines, Terri and Jessica Wesley, Rhea Lynn, Alana and Rayna Johnson, Scottie (Tara) Johnson and Albert (Tamika) Wesley, III. Loving companion of Latoya Joseph. Devoted friend of Jenia Gilmore, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Asbury United Methodist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at Asbury United Methodist Church 2725 Ernest Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, December 8, 2018, 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin 8:30a.m. until service at the above named church.

Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Westwego, LA.
