Juanita Burrows Banks

Juanita Burrows Lanoix Banks entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the age of 78.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Loving mother of David (Adrienne) Lanoix, Aldon Lanoix, Jr., Rhea (Darrell, Sr.) Flowers, Rhonda (Anthony) Green, and JaVar Banks.  Great grandmother of the late Kevin Thomas. Jr.  Daughter of the late Williams Burrows and Lydia Moore Zamora. Granddaughter of the late Augustine Perroux and Benjamin Moore.   Sister of Rodney Poche’, Sr., Sylvia Marcelin , Barbara Porche’, Bernadette Williams, Dolores Collins, Janet Sam, Kathleen Parnell, Angela Johnson, and the late Romeo and John Zamora, John Paul Johnson, Maxine Heisser, Ascencien Nicholas, Kataline Boutte, Ruby Laphand, and Roselee Williams. Aunt of the late Cecilia “Sweetie” Ellis; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
