Doretha Paul Jones

Doretha Paul Jones entered into eternal rest at her residence surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 94.  Beloved wife of the late Allen Jones, Jr. Loving mother of Anthony Sr., Allen III, Evelyn, and Clarence (Detdra) Jones, Frances Brown, Stephanie Dixon, Sandra (Lloyd) Carter, and the late Elmo and Rosalie Alcindor.  Grandmother of the late Ronald and Kendra Alcindor.  Great grandmother of the late Desjanae Brown.  Daughter of the late Joseph and Susie Alfred Paul.  Sister of Joseph Paul, Jr. and Gloria Paul Robinson.  Sister-in-law of Annabelle Christian and Elizabeth Paul.  Mother-in-law of the late Agatha Alcindor.  Godmother of Laddius Jones, Belinda Antoine McFarland, and Troy Smith, Jr.; also survived by 29 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Hermon Baptist Church of New Orleans, St Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, Beacon Light of Hammond, and all neighboring churches; employees of East Jefferson Hospital, Sunrise Senior Living of Metairie, First Student Transportation, Jefferson Parish Public School System, Dutra Group of California, C&D Productions, Areotek, and Heart of Hospice are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor/Teacher Thomas J.
