Celia Kennedy Scott

Celia Kennedy Scott entered into eternal rest at Bridgepoint Continuing Care on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the age of 94. He was a native of Lemonville, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Celia was employed by a seafood factory for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Willie Scott. Devoted mother of Elaine C. Scott, Brenda M. Scott, Carolyn (Sterling) Poche, Barbara (Leonard) Johnson, and the late Gwendolyn Scott. Daughter of the late James and Olivia Garrison Kennedy. Sister of the late Herbert Kennedy, Ruth Hogan, Carol Tarver, Alberta Black, and Audrey Kennedy, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 1419 4th St. Westwego, LA on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
