Beverly Ann Davis

Beverly Ann Davis  entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the age of 64. She was a native of New Orleans, LA, reared in Belle Chasse, LA, and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beverly loved to cook and sew, but fishing was her passion. Devoted mother of Erica Marie Davis, Tanya Denise Davis, and Vashawn Nicole Davis. Daughter of the late Melvin Davis, Sr. and Dorothy D. Anderson. Stepdaughter of  Leonard (Deborah) Anderson.   Granddaughter of the late Oliver and Mamie Glenn. Great granddaughter of the late Joseph and Sophia Glenn. Sister of  Deborah Marie Davis, Laura D. (Rev. Alvin W.) Tate, Mamie Reed, Melvin, Sr.  (Regina) Davis, Calvin Davis, and the late Gilbert and John Davis. Niece of Martha Toles of Grady, AL, Nancy Glenn of Algiers, and Emanuel Stevenson;she was preceded in death by 2 uncles. Companion of  Oliver Britton;also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of family are invited to attend the Funeral  Service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin 8:00a.m. at the above named parlor.
