Sharon Swayne Wagner

Sharon Swayne “Sha” Wagner departed this life on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the age of 63.

She was a native and resident of Algiers, LA. Sharon was employed with the Orleans Parish School System as a Dietary Technician.

Beloved mother of Catina Swayne (Donald) Barge, Tyran Johnson, And Urell Johnson. Loving daughter of Emanuel Swayne, Sr. and the late Marion Davis Swayne. Grandmother of Tyrai L. Swayne ( Tony) Williams, Dontae I. Barge, Tyraielle Johnson, Amjay Johnson , and the late Donald I. Barge, Jr. Great grandmother of Tony, Jr., Tru, and Tavin Williams. Sister of Kenneth (Brenda) Swayne, Ronald (Michelle) Swayne, Donald (Donnalynn) Swayne, Emanuel (Sharise) Swayne, Jr., and Sherylyn Hughes. Niece of Lois Swayne (Rev. Calvin) Ellison, and Marie Swayne Martin, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church, and neighboring churches; employees of Orleans and Jefferson Parish School System, St. Ville and Lake Forest School, Louisiana Rehabilitation are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Baptist Church 2836 Sullen Place Algiers, LA on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Interment: Eureka Cemetery-Algiers, LA.
