Alberta Pierre Southall

Alberta Pierre Southall entered into eternal rest at Passages Hospice on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the age of 98. She was a native of Killona, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Beloved wife of the late Rogers Southall. Devoted mother of Shirley Southall, Florence Jones and the late Amelia Southall Williams, and Rogers Southall, Jr. Grandmother of the late Ray Lotten. Great grandmother of the late Lakeasha Lotten and Kye West. Daughter of the late Victor Pierre and Rosa Rose. Sister of the late Dennis, John, Wellington, Wilson, Lambert, Nevin, Aevin, Kerry, Victor, Dewitte, Vera, Clothilde, Theresa, Lena, Florence, Majorie, and Alma. Great aunt of the late Eloise Vincent Irvin. Mother in law of the late Bethard Lotten, also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church Sixth District and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Baptist Church Sixth District

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
