Oddie B. Mobley

Oddie B. Mobley entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the age of 71. He was a native of Starkville, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA.

Oddie was a retired truck driver.

Beloved husband of Ruby L. Mobley. Devoted father of Whitney A. Russell, Christina C. Russell, Dewyane Russell, and the late Charles T. Russell. Son of the late Washington and Henrietta Carr. Brother of George Jordan and Anna Mae Hollingshed, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of White Chapel Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at White Chapel Baptist Church 1301 Estalote Ave. Harvey, LA on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery Avondale, LA.
