Alice Harper Johnson

Alice Deborah Harper Johnson entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the age of 64. She was a native of D’LO, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Alice was a 1971 graduate of Mendenhall High School and Alcorn A&M College in 1975 receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature.

 Devoted wife of the late Michael Johnson, Sr. Beloved mother of Michael James (Janella) Johnson, Jr. Grandmother of Michaela and Michael J Johnson III. Daughter of the late Ethel and Arrie Harper. Granddaughter of the late Ethel Hopkins. Sister of E.C. Harper and James Harper of D’LO, MS, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Hosanna Fellowship Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Hosanna Fellowship Church 400 Weidman St. Gretna, LA on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at the above named church.

Interment: Resthaven Cemetery New Orleans, LA.
