Joyce Whitley Carto

Joyce Marie Carto entered into eternal rest on Monday January 14, 2019 at the age of 69.

She was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Joyce was a cafeteria worker with Jefferson Parish School Board.

Devoted mother of Consuella Dorsey, Rodney Carto, Chasity Marie Carto, and Allen Carto. Daughter of the late Gerard Wade Whitley and Blanchie Olivia Whitley. Sister of Terry Whitley, Helen Brook, Evelyn Moore, Vivian Byrd, Carla Rivers, and Paula Cotton, also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery Westwego, LA.
