Dywane Gabriel

Dywane Gabriel,age 55, departed this life on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was a native and resident of Gretna, LA.   Dywane was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School and employed as a landscaper/construction with C. J. Lawn Service.  Loving husband of Johnnie Mae Gabriel.  Devoted father of Latonda and Ronald St. Cyr and Tyrone Allen.  Son of the late Walter Gabriel and Edna Mae Gabriel. Grandson of the late Walter and Bonnie Gabriel and Mary McGinnis.  Brother of Donald (Kenyana) Gabriel, Walter Gabriel, and Velda Refuge; also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Providence Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Holiday Inn Westbank, C.J. Lawn Service, Orleans Public Defender Office, and Paige Tax are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Providence Baptist Church, 2311 7th Street New Orleans, LA on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Lawrence St. Cyre, officiating  Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m until service time at the above named church.
